Welcome to the Wellbenomics blog

Welcome! Here we discuss what recently published work on the economics of wellbeing means for topical policy debates in the UK. The aims are to foster knowledge of the rapidly expanding scientific field of wellbeing in the general population and to encourage scientists to think of the economic and policy importance of their work. The Contributions are written in an accessible style for a lay audience, written by academics on personal title. The contributors come from many fields of social science and are largely based in the UK. The editors are Professor Paul Frijters and Mr. Romesh Vaitilingam of the Centre for Economic Performance at the LSE.
Potential scientific contributors are encouraged to write to either of the editors with ideas about contributions. Readers and journalists interested in the topic are encouraged to sign up to our automated news-letter that give alerts when new contributions are put up.
